A multidisciplinary designer with 15 years across UX/UI, visual design, and branding.

Hi, I’m Jason

For the past four years, I've been working in UX/UI — building on more than a decade in branding, art direction, and visual design.

Most recently, as a UX Designer at Amazon, I've spent two years designing across four teams: ADX/Speed, Creators, NAS Outbound, and Consumables. On ADX/Speed, I helped shape the future of Same-Day shopping, exploring new ways to surface and navigate products beyond the traditional "walled garden" model, and served as my team's primary prototyper — building high-fidelity concepts and vision videos that aligned cross-functional teams and communicated strategy to leadership. On Creators, I redesigned the Sponsored Creator Content experience to improve collaboration between creators and brands. I also designed new creator tools, including product tagging and auto-generated hotspots. On NAS Outbound, I partnered with engineering to test and refine a Self-Service Pattern Builder for email creation, then designed and shipped 30+ production-ready modules with it. I also helped develop cross-channel UX guidance across email, SMS/RCS, and push. On Consumables, I explored future search architectures and shopping experiences as part of a multi-year product vision.

Before that, I held Senior Visual/UI Design roles at Alaska Airlines and Shopkick, and spent seven years in branding and art direction at the Chicago-based agency Mauge, leading creative work for 50+ brands across digital, web, print, and identity.

I'm based in Bellevue, WA, by way of Chicago. Beyond design, I enjoy culinary adventures with my wife, our silly greyhound's antics, illustration, and making music.
