MY ROLE

As a senior visual designer at Alaska Airlines (2023-2024), my role spanned a range of responsibilities essential to maintaining the airline's brand integrity and marketing effectiveness. I designed various materials, including email campaigns, branding elements, print and digital assets, and social media content. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to refine designs and ensure alignment with brand standards and project objectives. Additionally, I supported the product team by contributing to visual and UI design tasks to enhance the user experience of the company website.

SELECTED PROJECTS

Emails

As the sole email designer, I created templates and designs that were informed by A/B testing outcomes. I maintained brand consistency through the creation and refinement of an email design system. Collaborating closely with the growth and lifecycle marketing team, we fine-tuned content to effectively communicate promotions and updates to customers, resulting in increased engagement.

Million Miler Logo

For Alaska Airlines' revamped Million Miler program, I designed a series of logos for 1, 2, and 3 Million Miler milestones, intended for use in marketing materials and exclusive luggage tags—crafted from retired aircraft fuselages, adding a unique touch to the recognition of loyal customers' achievements. The Million Miler program rewards frequent flyers who accumulate one million or more flight miles. Members enjoy exclusive benefits like elite status, priority boarding, complimentary upgrades, and enhanced mileage earning rates.
